The semifinal board
Sectional semifinals fall November 6–7. Pairings and host positions below are separated from confirmed kickoff details; no unannounced opponent or kickoff is entered as a scheduled game.

Crossover desk
Teams that do not make the playoffs typically have the opportunity to play one more crossover to complete their season schedule. Week 9 crossover matchups have not been announced here. Opponents, venues and kickoff times will be added once assigned and confirmed. A crossover is separate from the sectional championship bracket.
State contest limit: NYSPHSAA lists 10 as the maximum number of football contests, with section approval and excluding the sectional championship—not a statewide 10-game minimum. NYSPHSAA football standards →
Recordkeeping for replacement games
When an unplayed fixture is replaced by another game, only the replacement result counts for that slot. Red Hook’s 47–14 win at Cohoes replaces the Poughkeepsie fixture; no additional forfeit win is included. Red Hook is 4–5. Canceled games add no win, loss or on-field points.

November 13: Class D at Goshen, 4:30 p.m.; Class A at Monroe-Woodbury, 6 p.m.; eight-man at Goshen, 7:30 p.m. November 14 at Monroe-Woodbury: Class C at noon, Class B at 3 p.m., Class AA at 6 p.m. All times Eastern.
