How many teams get in?
Which games count? AA, B, C and D count games against teams in their own class. Class A and 8-Man count games within their own division. Other games still count toward the full season record.
How can a 4–1 team show 0–0 here? It has not played a division game yet. A win outside the division improves the full season record without changing the division playoff record.

How we check a clinch
We check every remaining win/loss combination, head-to-head results and the possible loss margins under the 21-point cap. If future scoring margins or a Section IX decision could still change a tied team’s place, we do not mark its spot clinched. KOT845 projections and Power 40 are not used to guarantee qualification. Official eligibility remains subject to Section IX.

How race ties are handled.
Division/classification competition first. After each place is decided, restart the sequence for the remaining tied teams.
Loss margins among tied teams, capped at -21 per game; closest to zero is better.
The written definition uses capped points allowed in qualifying losses; the worked example uses loss margins. If these disagree on the leader, the tie stays unresolved.
The handbook wording caps points scored in wins at +29; its worked example uses capped victory margins. KOT845 resolves this stage only when both interpretations agree. Otherwise the tie remains flagged for Section IX review.
This is an independent KOT845 editorial analytics product. Official eligibility, tiebreakers and playoff seeds are determined by Section IX. KOT845 does not use Power 40 to declare an official seed.

Eight-man quarterfinals are October 30–31. Section semifinals follow November 6–7, with all six championships November 13–14.
Friday, November 13: Class D at Goshen, 4:30 p.m.; Class A at Monroe-Woodbury, 6 p.m.; eight-man at Goshen, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 14: Class C at noon, Class B at 3 p.m. and Class AA at 6 p.m., all at Monroe-Woodbury. All times Eastern.
