Saturday Football: Four Kickoffs, an Eight-Man Ticket and AA/B Stakes

Saturday’s four kickoffs, the quarterfinal at Eldred, and what remains in the Class AA and B playoff races. All times Eastern.

Saturday, October 31, 2026 · All times Eastern. Friday’s 13 finals are in. Four games remain on Saturday’s playing schedule, with an eight-man semifinal berth and the remaining AA and B seed positions in focus.

Saturday’s kickoffs

Kickoff Matchup What to watch
Noon Millbrook/Webutuck at Ellenville
At Eldred Central High School Stadium
Eight-man quarterfinal
Noon Pine Bush at Monroe-Woodbury Class AA playoff race
Noon Fallsburg at Onteora Eight-man crossover
1 p.m. Marlboro at Saugerties Class B seeding

Not being played: Poughkeepsie at Red Hook was replaced by Friday’s game at Cohoes. Red Hook’s 47–14 win at Cohoes is the only result counted for that slot; the original fixture adds no forfeit win. Red Hook is 4–5.

Noon: a semifinal ticket at Eldred

No. 5 Millbrook/Webutuck meets No. 4 Ellenville in the eight-man quarterfinal at Eldred. The winner visits No. 1 Pawling in the semifinal. Eldred’s 14–6 Friday win over Tri-Valley puts Eldred into the other semifinal at Sullivan West.

Noon: Pine Bush–Monroe carries AA stakes

Middletown is No. 1 and Newburgh No. 2. Valley Central has qualified. A Pine Bush win, or a Monroe win by 1–3, projects Pine Bush No. 3 and Valley Central No. 4. A Monroe win by five or more projects Valley Central No. 3 and Monroe No. 4. A four-point Monroe win is held pending Section IX’s ruling on the tiebreak. See the full winning-margin table →

1 p.m.: Marlboro–Saugerties sets the B pairings

Both teams have qualified. The winner takes No. 3 and visits No. 2 Beacon; the loser takes No. 4 and visits No. 1 Port Jervis.

Noon: Fallsburg at Onteora

This eight-man crossover counts toward the teams’ full-season records, not playoff qualification. Both teams are outside the playoff field.

What Friday settled

Class A semifinals: Lourdes at Washingtonville and Warwick at Cornwall. The winners meet for the championship. In Class C, Dover visits O’Neill with Highland waiting in the final. Class D is Chester against Burke.
