Best of the 845 Football Combine Set for August 15

The Best of the 845 Football Combine is coming August 15 with athletic testing, positional competition, preseason interviews, player leaderboards, national database tracking, and complete KOT845 media coverage.

KOT845 and Athletic Republic Hudson Valley will provide athletic testing, positional competition, preseason interviews, leaderboards, and long-term player tracking.

FLORIDA, N.Y. — The Best of the 845 Football Combine is officially set for Saturday, August 15, at Jarocki Park and Athletic Republic Hudson Valley. The rain date is Sunday, August 16.

Created through the partnership between KOT845 and Athletic Republic Hudson Valley, the combine will give middle school and high school football players a local opportunity to test their athletic ability, compete against their peers, gain media exposure, and establish verified measurements ahead of the 2026 football season.

Athletes will be organized by graduation year, allowing their performances to be compared with players in their respective age groups.

Testing will include:

  • 40-yard dash with a 10-yard split
  • Vertical jump
  • Broad jump
  • 5-10-5 shuttle
  • L-drill
  • Max bench press
  • Quarterback throwing session
  • Wide receiver versus defensive back one-on-ones
  • Offensive line versus defensive line one-on-ones

Each participant’s results will be recorded on an individual scorecard and added to graduation-year leaderboards. The results will also be uploaded to Athletic Republic’s national performance database, giving athletes verified data that can be tracked as they continue developing.

KOT845 will maintain the local results from year to year, creating a long-term performance archive that can show how players improve throughout their middle school and high school careers.

The event will also serve as a preseason media opportunity. KOT845 will conduct player interviews focused on the upcoming season, including individual expectations, team goals, position battles, breakout candidates, and other important Section IX football storylines.

Combine measurements, positional performance, film, interviews, and future production will help KOT845 evaluate players throughout the season and contribute to future player rankings, positional rankings, watch lists, and football coverage.

“This is about creating an opportunity that athletes in our area can look forward to every year,” KOT845 founder Isaac Cayetano said. “We want players to compete, receive real measurements, tell their stories, and establish numbers that we can continue tracking as they develop.”

The goal is to make the Best of the 845 Football Combine an annual destination where Hudson Valley student-athletes can test themselves in a competitive environment and see how their abilities compare with their peers.

The event will also help parents understand the importance of giving young athletes access to professional facilities, structured testing, performance training, and measurable information throughout their development.

Athletic Republic Hudson Valley will oversee testing, organization, and the performance side of the combine, while KOT845 will lead media coverage, interviews, player storytelling, and the development of local leaderboards and rankings.

In addition to testing and competition, the event will feature a live DJ, local sponsors and vendors, giveaways, gifts, and recognition for the combine’s leading performers.

Athletic Republic Hudson Valley currently serves as the Official Sports Performance Partner of KOT845 Football for the 2026 season. The combine represents the next step in a partnership focused on athlete development, performance education, football coverage, and creating new opportunities for families across the Hudson Valley.

Early registration is $50. Day-of registration will cost $65.

Athlete check-in begins at 9:45 a.m., with the combine scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
