Beacon is not sneaking up on the schedule anymore.
The Bulldogs enter Week 4 at 4–0, averaging 29.3 points per played game while allowing 12.3. Their average margin is currently +17.0.
Friday sends Beacon to New Paltz for another Class B game — and another chance to keep the perfect start moving.
Beacon has won in different ways
The Bulldogs beat James I. O’Neill 29–22, blew out Red Hook 49–7 and then survived Marlboro 12–6 last Friday.
That matters because the last two weeks asked for opposite things. Beacon showed it could dominate one game and then protect a one-score lead in the next.
The available series is short, but Beacon owns it
KOT845 currently has two previous Beacon–New Paltz meetings indexed. Beacon won both: 34–0 in 2023 and 19–8 in 2024.
That makes Friday the third indexed meeting in the current archive. Earlier meetings may still be missing, so KOT845 is not treating the indexed total as a complete all-time series.
New Paltz is looking for its first win
New Paltz enters at 0–4. The Huguenots were tied 14–14 with Saugerties at halftime last week before Saugerties pulled away for a 36–14 win.
Beacon is protecting a perfect start. New Paltz is trying to change the direction of its season at home. This is also part of a larger Class B run for the Bulldogs: Saugerties comes to Beacon in Week 5, and Beacon travels to Port Jervis in Week 6. The 4-0 start has earned attention, but those games will do much more to settle how close Beacon is to the top of the class. First, it has to handle a New Paltz team that was level with Saugerties at halftime last week.
