Tri-Valley Is 4–1. Its Biggest Scoring Night Keeps the Bears Moving.

Tri-Valley beat Pine Plains/Rhinebeck 46–32 for its third straight win and season-high scoring total. Sullivan West is the next road test.

Tri-Valley has found several ways to win this season. Thursday required its biggest scoring night yet.

The Bears defeated Pine Plains/Rhinebeck 46–32 on the road to improve to 4–1. It was their third straight win and their highest point total of the 2026 season. The Bombers fell to 2–3.

Three wins, three different scorelines

After losing 46–12 to Millbrook/Webutuck on September 19, Tri-Valley beat Fallsburg 26–8 and Rockland Central 22–12. Thursday added a road win in a game with considerably more scoring.

Date Opponent Tri-Valley result
September 26 Fallsburg Won 26–8
October 3 Rockland Central Won 22–12
October 8 Pine Plains/Rhinebeck Won 46–32

That response deserves attention. One difficult afternoon against Millbrook has not defined the Bears’ season. They have followed it with three wins and put themselves in a position to make the next stretch matter.

Thursday also gives them something to work on. The 46 points are an encouraging offensive result; the 32 allowed make defensive improvement a useful focus before the next road trip.

Sullivan West is next

Tri-Valley is scheduled to visit Sullivan West on Friday, October 16, at 7 p.m. That is the next chance to see whether this winning stretch carries into another road test.

For Pine Plains/Rhinebeck, the next scheduled game is at Millbrook/Webutuck on Thursday, October 15. Scoring 32 against Tri-Valley gives the Bombers something to build on, but they will need a better defensive result to turn that production into a win.
