KOT845 has built its audience by covering the athletes, teams, coaches and rivalries that define Hudson Valley sports. Now, the platform is expanding its coverage to better represent the entire 845 community.
The new KOT845 Community section will feature local businesses, community events, youth programs, schools, culture, public-interest updates and the people making a difference throughout Orange, Ulster, Sullivan and Dutchess counties.
Sports will remain a major part of KOT845. However, the people who support local athletics are also business owners, educators, first responders, organizers, parents and community leaders. Their stories deserve a trusted local platform as well.
KOT845 Community will focus on useful, verified and relevant information—not unnecessary noise. Coverage will include business openings, fundraisers, family events, student achievements, community initiatives, government updates and local success stories.
Community members, organizations and businesses are encouraged to submit announcements, story ideas, events and nominations for possible coverage.
