2020–2025 Football
The modern archive begins with the COVID-disrupted 2020 season, continues through the Spring 2021 Fall II schedule, and then returns to the normal fall calendar.
2020
No Section IX fall football season was played. The postponed season moved to Fall II in spring 2021.
Fall 2021
Champions: Newburgh (AA), Minisink (A), Port Jervis (B), O’Neill (C), Spackenkill (8-Man).
2022
Champions: Newburgh (AA), Our Lady of Lourdes (A), Port Jervis (B), O’Neill (C), Tri-Valley (8-Man). O’Neill won the Class C state championship.
2023
Champions: Middletown (AA), Cornwall (A), Port Jervis (B), O’Neill (C), Burke Catholic (D), Sullivan West (8-Man).
2024
Champions: Monroe-Woodbury (AA), Cornwall (A), Port Jervis (B), Chester (C), Burke Catholic (D), Sullivan West (8-Man). Port Jervis won the Class B state championship.
2025
Champions: Monroe-Woodbury (AA), Minisink (A), Saugerties (B), Chester (C), Burke Catholic (D), Eldred (8-Man).
