2020 Section IX Boys Basketball Season
The 2020 Section IX tournament was completed just before the COVID-19 shutdown. Five sectional champions were crowned, but the NYSPHSAA state tournament was canceled before the Section IX champions could continue their postseason runs.
Historical breakpoint: 2020 has valid Section IX championship results but no state-tournament results. The following 2021 season had no Section IX champions, making these 2020 titles the last completed sectional championships until 2022.
